The Hidden Consequences: Second-Victim Syndrome Among Surgeons Following Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Complications 

Questionnaire on the Impact of Complications in Metabolic-Bariatric Surgery on the Surgeon’s Mental and Physical Health


You are being invited to participate in a survey study designed to gather information on the prevalence of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Second Victim Syndrome following complications in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. The aim of the present study is to analyze the prevalence of PTSD and identify the related characteristics to develop effective support strategies.


Participation in this study is entirely voluntary. You may choose not to participate at any time. Your responses will be recorded anonymously, and all data will be kept confidential.


The survey is expected to take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
